In the 2020 season of this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL), the “CONCUSSION SUBSTITUTE” rule will be implemented. BCCI President Saurabh Ganguly gave this information in the Governing Council meeting on Monday. According to the new ICC rule, if a player gets hurt during batting or bowling, then he can go out of the match and instead another player can come in the match. This is called concession rule and this rule will be applicable in this year’s VIVO IPL 2020.

Let us tell you that before the IPL 2020, BCCI will organize an All Stars match by mixing the top players of the world. This match will be a charity match. Speaking to reporters, Ganguly said, ‘We are bringing this season’s CONCUSSION SUBSTITUTE and All-Star Match. This time the IPL final will be played in Mumbai.

There will be 5 doubleheaders in this year’s IPL

Ganguly said that this season 5 doubleheaders would mean two matches in one day. In this case, the first match will be played at 4 pm and the second from 8 pm. On the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), the former Indian captain said that BCCI Secretary Jai Shah will make an official announcement soon.
