FIRST DECISION OF BCCI – IPL 2020 NIGHT MATCH TIMING
The first major decision that BCCI has taken is about the timing of IPL 2020.
According to previous reports, BCCI was thinking of the IPL match time at 7:30 pm and the biggest problem in the IPL Governing Counseling meeting was due to the timing of the IPL match. The final decision of the BCCI is that the IPL night matches would be started only at 8 pm.
SECOND DECISION OF BCCI – IPL 2020 FIRST MATCH
The second decision that BCCI has taken is on the first match of IPL 2020.
As we already told you in our last posts that the IPL 2020 will start from March 29. Now on this, the BCCI has also confirmed that the first match of the IPL 2020 will be on March 29 and this match will be played at Wankhede Stadium between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.
THIRD DECISION OF BCCI – IPL 2020 FINAL
The third major decision that BCCI has taken is about the final of VIVO IPL 2020.
As we had told you in our posts that the IPL 2020 final will be held on 26th May and on this the BCCI has also confirmed that the final of IPL 2020 will be on 29th May.
But where will the final of IPL 2020?
Earlier it was reported that the final of IPL 2020 will be held at Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad. But tell you that the final of the IPL will be held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai as the Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad is not yet constructed. Therefore, the BCCI has taken the final decision that the final of IPL will be in Wankhede Stadium as the last season of IPL was won by Mumbai Indians and their home stadium is Wankhede.
FOURTH DECISION OF BCCI – DOUBLE HEADERS IN IPL 2020
The fourth major decision that BCCI has taken is whether or not there will be doubleheaders in the IPL.
On this, BCCI has taken the final decision, BCCI had said that there will be no double handers in this year’s IPL 2020, which means there will be a match in one day but BCCI has not taken this decision. This year there will be doubleheaders but their number will be total 5. Because the Asia Cup 2020 is coming up, there is only a window till May 29, so the BCCI has taken this decision. The BCCI also said that there will be no doubleheaders in the upcoming IPL seasons.
FIVE DECISION OF BCCI – CONCUSSION SUBSTITUTE
The fifth and last major decision that BCCI has taken is to implement new rules ie “CONCUSSION SUBSTITUTE” in IPL.
For the first time in IPL history, the rule of “CONCUSSION SUBSTITUTE” will be applied in IPL 2020. This rule will be applicable to injured players.
