IPL 2020 News: The new year has started and the players of IPL 2020 have been auctioned in Kolkata in the last month i.e. December.

Nitish Rana and Shivam Mavi, two Delhi players, have been accused of age fraud in the DDCA General Annual Meeting i.e. AGM. However, the matter has now reached the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). If they are found guilty then both these players will be banned for 2-2 years.

BCCI may ban Nitish Rana

Delhi batsman Nitish Rana and Uttar Pradesh team bowler Shivam Mavi can be banned from BCCI Senior Cricket. It is worth noting that Nitish Rana is one of the 22 players who were banned by the BCCI in the same case in 2015. He has since been banned for age-group cricket. Now it is believed that Nitish Rana, who has been 26 years old, may also ban him from senior cricket.
The decision on the future of Nitish Rana’s game is still pending. At the same time, Shivam Mavi was part of the World Cup-winning Under-19 team in the year 2018. Together with Kamlesh Nagerkoti, he batted well throughout the tournament. Now the 18-year-old Mavi, who has played 6 First-Class matches and 16 List A matches, has referred his case to the BCCI.
